    Dr. Parchuri is a proud graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Residency in Tulsa at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, followed by a Spine Fellowship at Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas. He began practicing in the Tulsa area in 2010. Dr. Parchuri has more than 15 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery of the Spine. While he specializes in treating spine-related diseases and disorders, his practice area also includes some general orthopedics. Dr. Parchuri is passionate about motion preservation and helping to reduce or eliminate his patients’ pain using the latest treatments, including disc replacement surgery. He has more than 15 years of experience in this advanced procedure. Dr. Parchuri considers every patient a candidate for disc replacement surgery prior to considering other surgical options. Whether it’s disc replacement or another surgical or non-surgical option, Dr. Parchuri specializes in bringing the best possible procedure and treatment to every patient by connecting with them on a personal and professional level.   • Jason Sparks, DO

    Specializing in diseases of the spine, Dr. Sparks has extensive training in motion-preserving devices (such as disc replacement) as well as minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic discectomy. He is passionate about exploring all non-surgical options available for neck and back problems prior to recommending surgery. Dr. Sparks received fellowship training in spine surgery at Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas. His fellowship was preceded by undergraduate and graduate studies at Truman State University and A.T. Still University, respectively, both of which are located in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Sparks’s approach to medicine is to find and fix the root of the problem and the pain by providing treatment tailored to the individual patient. His professional associations include the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the North American Spine Society, the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. “My goal is to provide effective spinal care to return my patients to a productive life that is as pain-free as possible,” says Dr. Sparks. “I evaluate each of my patients as an individual and recommend a treatment tailored to them, holding surgery as a last option.” Dr. Sparks is happily married to his beautiful wife, Amanda, and has four wonderful children. In addition to providing effective care, Dr. Sparks encourages people to be physically active every day, because he believes exercise is the number-one way to lead a happy and healthy life.

    Lisa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. After earning undergraduate degrees in psychology and nursing from the University of Tulsa, she completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Hawaii in 2004. She has a wide range of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has been with Spine & Orthopedic Specialists since 2014. Lisa and her husband, an Air Force veteran, have three children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She is an active volunteer with a local animal rescue and serves as a court advocate for children in the foster care system. Lisa is passionate about helping patients improve their health and quality of life. She believes in developing strong relationships with patients by providing personalized care that addresses their specific needs.
