The Boarding at VCA Woodland South offers luxury, state of the art facilities providing pampered boarding for your pets. Accommodations include large indoor runs, cleaning and ventilation systems, and non-slip flooring. Dogs are walked four to six times a day in our numerous, spacious, and landscaped yards. Cats are housed in a separate area, away from barking dogs, to reduce stress. Our sunny cattery features spacious condos that include separate areas for relaxing, eating and play. We provide comfortable bedding, immaculate housekeeping and two meals daily. Our guests receive daily exercise, brushing, love, and attention. Our expert groomer with over 20 years of experience will make your pet look and feel great and pampered.

  • Caren Lawrence

    DVM

    Dr. Caren Lawrence is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine She has been practicing medicine with VCA Woodland Animal Hospitals since 2006. Dr. Lawrence is a certified canine rehabilitation therapist (CCRT) and runs our Canine Rehabilitation program. She also has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, laser surgery, knee surgery and dentistry. Her goal is to provide the best medicine and care available to all of her patients and to develop a strong bond with their owners. Dr. Lawrence was born and raised in Tulsa and attended Booker T. Washington high school. She enjoys traveling, outdoor sports and spending time with her pets (a Bernese mountain dog and 5 cats). Dr. Lawrence and her husband enjoy competing in marathons and triathlons and they are attempting to run a marathon on all 7 continents.

  • Maggie George

    DVM

    Dr. Maggie George is a graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with VCA Woodland Animal Hospitals since 1993. Dr. Maggie says she loves working at this VCA veterinary hospital because of the high quality of medicine, surgery and patient care that is always provided. This has allowed her to blend her passion for medicine with her love of cats and dogs. Working with people that love and care for their pets as members of their family makes work an everyday pleasure. Dr. George always has a house full of pets from her current two dogs and three cats to many more foster kittens and puppies, older dogs and cats in need of homes as well as the occasional orphaned raccoon. Life is always better with a pet (or 2 or 3 or..) by your side!.

  • Rachael Davis

    DVM

    Dr. Rachael Davis is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she focused on small animal and exotic medicine. She loves working with all animals, but has an affinity for exotics and is always excited to see birds, pocket pets and reptiles. Understanding that every family is unique, Dr. Davis is committed to working closely with clients to provide individualized care for each of their pets. Originally from northern California, she has lived in Tulsa with her husband for more than a decade. Together, they have a son (Isaac) who shares her love of science and animals. The family is active in the community, doing nonprofit work with arts, education and animal rescue organizations. In her spare time, Dr. Davis likes to paint and work in her organic garden. At the moment, her household includes four backyard chickens (Ginga, Mary Ann, Coconut and Mrs. Howell), a green-cheeked conure (Rio) and two basset hounds (Thelonious Veruca).
